First had Farkle on my old Palm Treo and LOVED it. Great to see it now in the App Store. Addictive game play. Keep improving it guys.
Was having problems at first, but that must have been caused by another app running at the same time - closed other apps and game runs fine now.
I first started playing this game on the CPU and loved it. Im glad its in the app store because now I can play it on the go!
This game is awesome I would have been lost with out it I love it I was in hospital with nothing to do no one to play with and found this game and helped me pass the time
The only difference between it and the one I play with my friends is there is no option to play off the other players rolls.
Some bad moments
... but the gameplay is absurd. Till now the Computer has no farkle, I had more than 10 and it always rolls the dice it needs to win. At last I lost a game where I had been in front with more than 4000 points.
It is 1 thing to have different "personalities" play you (ie. 1 who takes risks vs 1 who is more conservative), but the point of Farkle is that the roles are supposed to be RANDOM! It is VERY obviously not! Also, there should be a single player option to increase your score within a certain number of rolls. I find this game unenjoyable when playing the computer, & am happy to delete it!
The game does not follow the actual printed Farkle rules or scoring. Which makes play a little frustrating plus the computer opponent may not "cheat" but he certainly does not play fairly.
I will still play but I am a little sad on how the "rules" work.
The ads cover the bottom of the screen and then pop up in between games. Advertising is one thing but these are just annoying. I also agree that its rigged. Every time I score a massive round, the AI player seems to do the same thing. Youll never win by a large margin because the computer wont allow it. One star and the app gets deleted. Its simply not fun.
Its probably the best mobile Farkle game you can find, but the AI is way too "lucky". Sometimes, if your lucky, you can win, but the AI opponents get 3,000 point rolls regularly, and it gets annoying.
If you play the computer, it tends to get very lucky. Especially if you beat the computer twice in a row, you will not win a third time. There are some games you just have to laugh at how lucky the computer is.
